If you think a famous brand will not make a simple mistake, you are wrong. Motorola sold some refurbished Xooms without wiping off the previous owner’s data. Obviously, the one who bought the refurbished Xooms wouldn’t be happy too to get an item with some unknown stuffs. But at least Motorola sincere enough to admit this mistake they made.
To compensate the victims (previous owner of Xooms), Motorola will be offering 2 years of Experia nidentification protection service to them for security reason. The owners that received a Xooms with previous owners data will get a $100 American Express gift card if they send the device back to Motorola.
So, if you are going to return any things that store your data, make sure you wipe your data off.
