It seems that Apple has taken their steps on selling their latest iPhone 4S very soon. Recently, they are selling iPhone 3GS 8GB and iPhone 4 8GB directly from their Apple Store (no contract) before the launch of iPhone 4S, my guess is they are cleaning up their remaining stocks as the older model not able to catch up the modern competitor.
It gives the people who wants to get an iPhone without contract more confident as before they only able to get the phone contract-less through mobile store as they have ways to get stock and the warranty part is tricky as the seller might just lied to you or you getting a second hand iPhone.
